Project Title: ICU Units Setup for COVID-19 Patient in Kushtia
Rotary Club of Kushtia has been setup ICU units for COVID-19 patients in Kushtia today. It was a project with the help of Global Grant. Now the peoples of Kushtia will get better treatment in Kushtia without going to Dhaka.
Rotary Club of Kushtia arranges a program for this project. Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Kushtia-3 was present as the Chief Guest. Selim Altaf George, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Kushtia-4; Md. Aslam Hossain, Deputy Commissioner, Kushtia; S. M. Tanvir Arafat PPM (Bar), Police Super, Kushtia; Dr. S. M. Mostanzid, President, BMA, Kushtia; Dr. Nurun Nahar Begum, Deputy Director, 250 Bedded General Hospital, Kushtia were present as a special guest.
IPP Rtn. Syeda Habiba AKS was the anchor of this program. President of Rotary Club of Kushtia Rtn. Kazi Shamsun Naher Alo PHF gave a welcome speech. Secretary Rtn. Ruaim Rabbie gave projects report, and Rtn. M. A. Khaleque shares his opinion as a new member. Project Chair Rtn. Ajoy Sureka PHF gave thanks to all guests and others. Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors and other peoples were attended also.

Rotary Club of Kushtia arranged a Tree Plantation project yesterday at 6 No. Municipal Primary Govt. School. Different types of trees were planted there. And RC Kushtia distributed meals among the peoples at RCC Rahimpur, Kushtia. Both projects were arranged on the Occasion of DG’s Birthday.

Rotary Club of Kushtia arranges 2 days free Physiotherapy health camp at Rotary Specialized Physiotherapy Healthcare & Hospital. Today is the first day of this camp and many patients got treatment. Patients are very pleased for getting this type of camp. 16th September 2020, 2nd day of this campaign. Anyone can come from 10 am to 6 pm.

Project Title: Focusing on Disease prevention and treatment
Day by day COVID-19 patients is increasing in Kushtia. Patient wasn’t able to get treatment. Rotary Club of Kushtia has distributed High Flow Nasal Cannula to Kushtia 250 bed General Hospital for COVID-19 patient. Md. Mahbubul Alam Hanif, MP, Kushtia-3 was present as a Chief Guest.
Today, 09th August 2020, Rotary Club of Kushtia arranged Emergency Response for the COVID-19 program at Kushtia Medical College Gallery-02. Rotary Club of Kushtia also setup a Breastfeeding Corner at Kushtia 250 bed General Hospital, distributed Garbage Bag for Corona Patient, and also distributed masks among the invited people and nearby areas.

The project Chair of this program was Ajoy Sureka PHF. He arranged this program with the members of Rotary Club of Kushtia. High Flow Nasal Cannula was given with the donation of members of Rotary Club of Kushtia.

Project Title: 1st Meeting of the Rotary Year 2020-21
The 331st Regular Meeting of the Rotary Club of Kushtia and the 1st Meeting of the Rotary Year 2020-21 was held on 18 July 2020 at Zoom Cloud.
Honorable Member of Parliament for Kushtia Sadar constituency and Joint Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Mr. Mahbubul Alam Hanif was present as the chief guest at the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Rotarian Mir Mohammad Musa, President of Rotary Club of Dhaka, passed away and a minute of silence was observed.
District Governor Rubaiyat Hossain, PDG KM Zainul Abedin, PDG DR Mir Anisuzzaman, PDG Ishtiaq Zaman, DSG AKM Nurul Huda Pintu expressed satisfaction over the activities of Rotary Club of Kushtia.
Chief Guest Mr. Mahbubul Alam Hanif appreciated the activities of Rotary Club of Kushtia and called upon the people to work for the development of Kushtia.
COVID-19 Project: Meals EveryDay from 1st July to 18th July 2020
Despite Covid-19 pandemic, from 1st July 2020 to 18th July 2020, Rotary Club of Kushtia leaders have shown their love for the mankind. Club President Rtn. Kazi Shamsun Naher Alo, Immediate Past President Rtn. Syeda Habiba, PP Rtn. Md. Fakhrul Alam Milon, PP Rtn. Md. Obaidur Rahman, Rtn. Adv. Md. Mossaddeque Ali moni, Club Secretary Rtn. Ruaim Rabbie with other Club members, Rotaractors, Interactors & local dignitaries attended –“Meals EveryDay” project in Kushtia under the leadership of Club President Rtn. Kazi Shamsun Naher Alo of Rotary Club of Kushtia. We have distributed 14573 cooked food packs to daily labor, Rickshaw puller, beggars and poor people and this project is running and will continue…
Dua mahfil for DG
Rotary Club of Kushtia had distributed seed among the peoples of RCC Rahimpur, Kushtia on 29 July 2020. Various types of seed had distributed to 150 families.

Rotary Club of Kushtia arranged dua mahfil for DG of Rotary Internation Bangladesh. It was arranged at different Madrasha. All members and other well-wishers prayed for early recovery of DG from COVID-19. It was 3 days Dua Mahfil program.
Saving Life of Senior Citizen by Blood Arrange
A 76 years old patient was admitted to a hospital. He needs 3 Bag O negative blood on emergency. The patient’s family was not able to manage blood from blood banks or from blood donors. At that time Rotary Club of Kushtia searched for blood donors in different places and got donors after 18 hours.
Tree Plantation Project from 1st July to 18th July 2020
The Rotary Club of Kushtia has been conducting a tree planting program every day since July 1, 2020. 1172 different species of saplings and trees were supplied till July 18, 2020. Fruit and vegetable gardens are also planted on the roofs of the Rotarians. And others are called upon to garden on the roof.
Fellowship with members of Rotary Club of Kushtia
Our joy, our Rotarians. We want to conquer the world with love. We have realized many dreams. I have seen new dreams again in the new Rota year, all Rotarians hope to realize that dream again. The Rotary Club of Kushtia spent the day through fellowship on the first day of the year 2020-21 on 1st July 2020. Rotary Club of Kushtia gave gifts to all Rotarians.
Tree Plantation
The Rotary Club of Kushtia has started the service project through the tree planting program on the first day of the Rotary Year. The coordinator of this project was Rotarian Smriti Sureka. Organized by Rotaract Club of Kushtia.
COVID-19 Project: Meals EveryDay
Rotary Club of Kushtia has started the Rotary Year 2020-21 through “Meals EveryDay” activities on the first day of the Rotary Year on 1st July 2020. Food gifts were distributed to middle class families in different areas of Kushtia. Rotarians of Rotary Club of Kushtia and Rotaractors of Rotaract Club of Kushtia participated in this event.
